rubecksen yamanaka spring/summer collection 2008

The collection is inspired by Victorian bisque dolls and artists Louise Bourgeois and Hans Bellmer. The collection features silk and cotton dresses and waterproof trench coats and jackets with displaced gussets. Sheer knitwear has stockings inserted into seams and is partly double layered. The details on the clothes are quirky and offbeat, creating a collection of beautifully peculiar pieces.
