Knitted Wilderness Two –The collection is inspired by Victorian nature and landscape photography and David Octavius Hill and Robert Adamson’s portrayal of the Newhaven fishing community. The collection includes knitted wool coats and fairisle jumpers. Victorian accessory details are featured on coats, shirts and dresses. The details on the clothes are quirky and offbeat, creating a collection of beautifully peculiar pieces. Yarns include cashmere, silk, yak and Shetland wool and fabrics used are boiled soft wool and angora, fine jersey and silk crepe in colours ranging from cream, beige and brown to tonal greys and black.
