Knitted wilderness – the autumn/winter 2006/07 collection is inspired by animal features, elements if traditional menswear and amish simplicity, old fashioned lingerie and installation artist Mark Dion whose work raises questions about the visual representation of nature.The cotton tulle shirt dress inspired by traditional men’s shirts and amish style dresses in wool and velvet sits alongside velvet tailored suits, knitted jackets and coats – knitwear embracing animal-like elements in shape and texture. Quirky accessories include wool stockings, knitted girdels
and bras.

Yarns used are fine cashmere, soft lambswool, mohair and shetlands wool and
fabrics include cotton velvet, silk velvet, wool, cotton tulle and fine wool mix jersey. The colour palette encompasses cream, dusty pink, pale brown, silver, charcoal, chocolate and black.
