rubecksen yamanaka autumn/winter collection 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------
The autumn/winter 2005 collection is inspired by camels, gloves and Belgian artist
Marcel Broodthaers‘Jardin d’Hiver’, and was presented in London Fashion Week at
ON|OFF at The Royal Academy of Arts on 14 Feb 2005.
Detailing is masculine shirting with pleat fronts on silk chiffon dresses with glove shapes and stitching elements along with leather button-down cuff details on the front. Camel hair is made into tailored trousers and over coats with low pockets and double collars, while autumnal thick corduroy produces skirts and blazers that complement the fine gaugecashmere in the collection with double ribbed cuffs and necklines. Curious three-sleeve sweaters with built-in glove details are enhanced with playful camel pattern on the flipside of cardigans and pullovers. Scarves accessories inspired by gloves, court shoes are covered with crochet.
