Showcasing their autumn/winter 2005 collection for the first time in London Fashion Week
at ON|OFF at The Royal Academy of Arts, ‘rubecksen yamanaka’ was established in 2002
by Norway–born womenswear designer Hilde Rubecksen and Japanese knitwear designer
Tomoko Yamanaka after the pair graduated from The Royal College of Art earlier the
same year.

rubecksen yamanaka’s collections consist of contemporary and directional womenswear
and knitwear, in which unconventional design and high quality fabrics and yarns are
combined, creating collections of beautifully peculiar pieces.
